Oh don't get me wrong, that little Croatian has taken his game to the next level after a pretty rocky start. He made them loan out Sahin and not even worry about Khedeira's injury. Yaya just took it to another level this year with his eye for goal. 20 goals in the league with 17 from open play, 4 from free kicks. I think he had something like 4 in 4+ yrs at Barca. Even though Kompany is the captain Yaya is the heart & soul of that team and it stands out where as Modric is the engine that gets overlooked because Madrid has 28" rims on the outside stealing the limelight.
On a different note:
I know the FFP punishment might have appeared weak but it's a killer if you look at it closely. Because their wages are so out of control they're not going to be able to offload players like Milner because they're on 100k a week. Even Garreth Barry is on 120k a week although his deal runs out this summer.
