Honestly think Arsenal would have won that game outright if Gibbs didn't go off, I don't think the red card would have even happened tbh, Robben was Monreal's mark.

No idea why anybody thought Ozil taking that penalty was a good idea though. Childhood friends and NT teammates? What could go wrong? Seriously, you could see Neuer just waiting for him to kick it. Ox should have taken that pen imo.

I really dislike Arsenal but I still want to see them advance. It's great for the league when English teams do well.

Also, both English teams lost 2-0 at home after receiving a red card and conceding the first goal in the 54th minute and the second goal at the end of the game. UEFA conspiracy clearly.

I don't know if we would've won the match, but it was clear Gibbs going off is what did change the match, and not the red card. The forced substitution was what caused the red, of course.

I still haven't read anything on how long Gibbs will miss. Hopefully not long.

I agree, but the Red was still inexcusable. SZCZ has been fantastic this season, but he does have the unfortunate tendency of being reckless too often in that kind of situation.

I've been telling my friends this since the league has gone to **** - we're gonna PULL A CHELSEA!!!! DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES?!?!?!

I can see it now: 89th min and it's still 0-0 for United and Baycelona Madrid. Will United score? They always score! They've attempted 90 crosses this match. 91st minute, Carrick passes back to De Gea and distributes quickly to Rafael who finds Cleverley in space. Seeing Welbeck making a run into Baycelona Madrid's box, Cleverley whips in a cross which somehow finds its way to Welbeck who coolly heads the ball in.

2 months later, Cleverley is handed a massive $20m/year contract and made United's next captain.

Leon just described my worst nightmare. Liverpool finishes 4th but Man U wins the CL.

That happened to me in FM once. It only increased my real-life hatred. Just thinking about that happening this year makes me sick.

You put this statement into the universe anything can happen. Let's see if it can work for Arsenal. Gunners beat Bayern in the return leg 3-1, lets go!!

Dortmund with 2 away goals in 70 seconds within the first 5 minutes.

What a stupid booking for Evra after only a couple of minutes. I would attack down his flank at will if I were Olympiakos.

I'm not watching the game but I may sit down and watch the second half.

Question: how the heck do you have 61% possession and you're being outshot 8(2) to 2(0)? Is United just trying to play crosses and failing miserably, or what?
