    Chelsea - 31% possession

    Real - 28% possession

Real sat back and absorbed just as much, they just have World Class players going forward but were also at nearly full strength.

Carlo is also much more attack-minded then Mourinho. Hell, he led us to the highest goal total ever on the PL.

Is he a joke too because he did what he had to do to put his team in a position to advance?

No, because he moans about West Ham parking the bus versus Chelsea back in January, yet he goes out and does exactly the same thing himself. Man should just shut up. I wouldn't blame him if he wasn't such a hypocrite.

I told Big Sam (Allardyce). They need the points but because they need points, to come here and not play and do it the way they did . . . is it acceptable? Maybe yes. I cannot be too critical because if I was in this position, I don’t know, would I do the same? Maybe I would. But at the same time, this is not Premier League (football). The only thing I could use was a Black and Decker to destroy their wall."

He said "maybe I would" but there's a difference between playing West Ham in an mid-year PL game vs playing the 1st leg of the Champions League Semi-final.

That scoreline was very flattering to Bayern. They bottled that game so hard, pure luck that they aren't heading into leg 2 down by 4 goals.

Still classifies as 19th century football according to Jose himself. Like I said, he's one of the best managers around. But you can't deny the things he says don't make him look like a total tool. As stated previously, what annoyed me so bad was the fact he complained about it before. Of course I don't expect a team to go all out attack as the visiting team to a counter-attacking team, it's basic tactics. But if he uses the park the bus tactic, why can't he accept other teams might just use it against him? Regardless of the league/cup they're in.

Man, Mourinho must be the first ever manager to be "a hypocrite"

Good thing Wenger is nothing like that. He's always upfront with everything.

Look at the end of the day, managers need to get results. What if Mourinho decided to attack instead of play it safe and Atletico won 4-0??? I can see it now.

                Press: Mourinho's recklessness costs Chelsea

I'm not a Chelsea fan and I don't like Jose, but I can see why he did it. It's not the first time he parked the bus either. He did the same thing with Inter 4 years ago against Barca and they won. All managers sound like hypocrites at times with their mind games, so I don't really read that much into the West Ham game although I remember laughing when he made those remarks

As for the Bayern game, I feel like Real did what Bayern did to Barca last year, only they didn't score as much. Bayern had the ball, but didn't do much other than a few chances while when Real countered, they could have scored at least 2-3 goals more.

Mourinho was just being a troll when he said that, no? That was my impression anyways. The man has a skill for keeping a straight face.

I don't like at all what Pep Guardiola has done to Bayern.

Pep overthinks and that's cost him. It happened at the end of his Barca reign and it's happening at Bayern. He should have known that he didn't need to tinker with that team as much.

The first thing he did was disrupting the best double pivot in the world by taking the best right back in the world and playing him out of position

Lahm is good, if not great, wherever you play him. Bayern are kind of like Barca in that both of their CBs are their weakest links and it plays right into the hands of the most lethal counter-attack maybe ever. Real has ball-playing CBs who are good on the ball so Bayern's pressure up-top doesn't phase them as much. Then you have Alonso sitting in front barking out commands and getting guys into position. Him and Modric were silent killers this game, especially Modric for covering Contrao who IMO is who Bayern had hoped to isolate on Robben. If Di Maria wasn't so inconsistent it could have been worse.

Wynalda mentioned that CR7 for Bale was a straight swap and it was to some extent but Bale can play some D since he started out as a LB. If Ronaldo was fully fit AND willing to work they could sit back in 4-5-1 and just break on the outside with incredible pace. Then again, having Bale as a super-sub is a nice chess piece to have when defenders get tired.

And I remember Wanger complaining that Chelsea had sold Mata to United after he sold them RVP.

I must have missed the part where I said other managers are always honest and the part where Wenger comes in. Anybody want to show me the part where I said Wenger is always honest? Steelerfan, read this article, it'll show you the RVP and Mata transfers are not the same. http://www.theguardian.com/football/...lsea-juan-mata

I believe the point people are making is that citing hypocrisy as the main reason you don't like Mourinho is silly because all managers do what he does

It's not just the hypocrisy, it's his whole personality. The way he gets his arse licked by the media in the country is a joke. In Italy and Spain they chewed him up and spat him out. I seriously don't get how you can like the guy. How can you like a guy who slates his players when **** goes bad, but when things are going well it's the result of his good work. Always puts the blame on everyone else (yes Wenger likes to act as a victim at times too). Always resorting to personal jabs towards other managers which really bothers me more than anything. He's a daft ****. I shall not speak on the matter again. Everyone's entitled to their opinion and maybe I shouldn't have stated my thoughts about Jose Mourinho. I agree with the fact most managers do the same as he does but to a lesser extent.
