He was the man of the match today for me. I know bale got that go ahead goal but di maria was creating so many chances and that move he made that lead to the goal was sick

Simeone's decision to play an obviously hurt Costa hurt them, especially since they had one less sub and needed to take off Juanfran. Bale was pretty blah even though he scored the go ahead goal. His 1st touch was poor and he put himself in enough 1v1's. When he did, he never looked dangerous. Credit to Atletico for keeping them under control for 90 minutes.

When Di Maria gets playing time, he's typically the 2nd most important player for RM, behind Ronaldo. Been that way for years. I hope they don't sell him. He is absolutely vital.

Agreed, I think they should het rid of khedira he was terrible. Bale was blah and he was so one footed. Ronaldo didn't do anything either, but it was a great game. Love the tempers and chippyness because of the rivalry
