Re: 2013-2014 UEFA Champions League Thread

Ashley Young is a POS footballer. I have no idea why he plays as much as he does. I disliked the fact that he was signed and the diving in my mind makes it worse. Yes, Cristiano dives, but he actually worked on that part of his game and didn't do it as much. Young just looks like a tool when he dives and I hope he is sold because he doesn't offer a lot these days

Disappointing result though, although I was glad to see Iker put up a vintage performance against Juventus.

I've contacted the Bundesliga to allow Bayer Leverkusen to play the remainder of the EPL season against Manchester United and Manchester United only. This should vault us into top spot by January.

Bayern are out of sight at the moment. Ripping Man City apart.

After watching the Lions-Eagles game on Sunday, the Galatasaray-Juventus game being called of because of the snow seems soft.

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored, setting a new record for most goals in a Champions League group stage, with 9.

Impressive comeback from City considering how woeful they have been away from the Etihad. What is also impressive is that they won without the likes of Aguero, Yaya Toure, Nasri and Kompany.

Wow! I didn't expect that result. Juventus likely favorites for the Europa League?

It is a bit shocking, but you're playing with fire leaving it up to getting a result in Istanbul.

We'll see if they put everything into the Europa League. Sometimes when a big club goes down into it, they don't seem to take it as seriously.

Can't believe Napoli have to bow out with 12 points.

                          That hurts

You have Zenit losing 1-4, and getting in with 6 points, LOL. Galatasaray go in with 2 wins, as does AC.

Napoli did what they could. Not easy to beat Dortmund and Arsenal at home. Second team in history to go out with 12 points.
