My question is, what are things (good and bad) I should know about the Spurs and how do other teams look at them. (Besides Arsenal, I know about that hatred).

After watching football for a few years I have decided to finally settle down and pick a team in the Premier League to follow. After looking into many different things (roster, key history points, fan base, location, colors, famous fans) I have decided to become a Spur fan.
My question is, what are things (good and bad) I should know about the Spurs and how do other teams look at them. (Besides Arsenal, I know about that hatred).Last edited by stlducks; 06-13-2014, 12:19 PM.Current careers:

Re: Tottenham Hotspur - new fan
First of all, you don't put "the" in front of Spurs. Second, supporting Tottenham is an emotional roller coaster that almost always ends poorly. Best of luck to you, and coys.Avid Supporter Of...

Re: Tottenham Hotspur - new fan
Yea I did not want to jump on any big bandwagons. Where I live I hear mostly about Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man U and Man City. Also Fulham because of Dempsey but now he is gone.Current careers:

Re: Tottenham Hotspur - new fan
I hope you didn't pick Spurs JUST to not be a bandwagoner, because that is equally as obnoxious as a bandwagon fan.

I know it's a weird way I pick a team but being a EPL fan in Iowa is kind of tough.Current careers:

After two years as a Spurs fan, I found myself making a face similar to this a lot.
