Disgraceful reffing in the Chelsea-Burnley game. Matic gets a studs up challenge that could have broken his leg and gets sent off (rightfully so) for his reaction but no card even shown to the Burnley player. 2 penalties not called in the 1st half and numerous kicks on air challenges ignored. Ugh

I would have kicked his *** too for that challenge that was almost as bad as the Challenge on Eduardo in 2008. Disgusting

Also Joey Barton being himself as usual. Hope he gets at least 10 games for that crap

The hand ball was so blatant. I'm not sure how that one wasn't called.

If the Villa board thought Gooner Tim was gonna save them from the drop then they are nuttier than an orchard of Macadamias.

Barnes was actively trying to hurt Chelsea players all game, should have been sent off for his kick out on Ivanovic, instead gets one of our players sent off for an even worse challenge than the Ivanovic one. You can see it in his face too, he knows exactly what he did.

                Atkinson is cartoonishly bad.

I'm getting a kick seeing former Toronto FC manager John Carver completely turn Newcastle into a shambles. Who in the world thought putting him in charge on an interim basis was a good idea?

Nothing against Tottenham (I don't have an English team but I hope to pick one to root for by the end of the season) but nothing makes me happier than watching a team allow a goal when someone is standing around with his arm up for offside and then someone runs right around him and puts it in the net because he stopped playing defense.

Lukaku missed on a few chances at a winner, but saved us from a bad, bad loss in the 86th.

Also what a first 4' in the Liverpool match. They easily could've conceded 2 penalties and they score in 3rd minute. Crazy start.

If time was already up wouldn't the game be over on the save? You're essentially putting more time on the clock allowing Kane to score on the rebound. I also hate that you can play the rebound. It's hard enough to make one save let alone two. Anyway just a pet peeve of mine.

Added time has always been an inexact science. It's rare 2 minutes means exactly 2 minutes and the whistle blows no matter what the game scenario. Refs don't call the game when one team is threatening. The penalty was given with 15 seconds to go in the 5 minutes. If a penalty were given in the first 90, time would be added for it, so it makes sense to add some time because of the penalty and have 15 seconds of play after the PK. I'm sure that wasn't the logic but it would be mine and added time is really just a minimum, not a be all end all number. I think the referee if he called the game the second Schwarzer saved it and disallowed the putback, would have needed a police escort to get off the field, out of the stadium and to the airport.

I wouldn't be opposed to not allowing the putback either though.

On an unrelated note, since Kane did both in this case, I wish the person who was fouled was the one who had to take the PK.
