Re: The 2014-15 EPL Discussion Thread

As a Leeds fan who had the unfortunate pleasure of watching Neil Warnock, with him deciding Michael Brown was better than Ross Barkley, for a time, I feel sorry for Palace fans. I've no idea what the club is doing, his tactics for Leeds were dinosaur like. The guy doesn't understand modern football.

Are teams always this careful with people coming off the World Cup?

I mean, the way some of these commentators talk about Germans like Ozil, Mertesacker, Podolski, you'd think the WC just ended a couple weeks ago. They've had well over a month now, does it really wipe them out that much?

Yup Crystal Palace is destined to go down with Warnock at the helm.

They've really only had a month or so off in the last calendar year. That's a lot of wear & tear on their legs. It's why KD & Bron took this summer off, basically to recharge their batteries. Not only that but guys are more likely to get seriously injured when they're less than 100%.

2 years ago all the games that Oscar played really wore him down and he was clearly not the same player in YR2 compared to YR1.

Oh, snap! A fresh one. By the way, what do you make of United's Champions League group this year?

Ah forget it, this is boring. Moving on.

Another gritty road point for United. If they keep this up, they'll stay up for sure.

Chevy could always bring back one of their classic commercials since United is sinking "like a rock".

They also didn't get a clear-cut penalty call their way in the first half. City should probably be down 2.

Huge win for Stoke at the Etihad this early in the season.

So since Man Utd last won a competitive fixture, Arsenal has won TWO trophies... BUT....

Welp it looks like the last 10 mins of the Everton's defence vs. Arsenal match last week carried into this game.
