Foot-head I use to call Cahill. That guy scored so many headers for Everton it was ridiculous, was always a joy to see him play for the Toffees.

His goal celebration is still one of my favorites.

This is exciting stuff - keeping Lukaku!

Romelu Lukaku said he had no resentment over his time at Chelsea after making what Roberto Martínez described as ‘a real football statement’ by joining Everton

It is huge. It's gonna be tough to maintain where they finished on the table last season, but this at least makes that a possibility. Without him, I had them dropping at least 2-3 spots.

Agreed indeed. What other positions need to be looked at? As I see it this is the most likely lineup?

(Coleman is RB of course - not sure why not showing up on the embed)

^ James McCarthy will surely be in the middle of the park. He formed a great partnership with Barry. I can see
Lukaku on his own up top with Barkley in behind. Naismith or Pienaar on the left.

Can we make a push for the top 4 with Lukaku, what other peices do we need?

Depth, that's the key to pushing for top 4.

Depth, luck and chemistry. And the inclusion of the Europa league, as cool it is, means it's going to be even trickier.

Plus, let's be honest, Manchester United is probably going to finish ahead of Everton this year; so, figuring out the specifics of a top 4-5 finish is really tough.

I'm just gonna enjoy the fact that Fox Sports will hopefully air some of Everton's Europa league matches. And maybe they will go far in the FA Cup and Capital One Cup. It's all about building the budget, and building for the future.

Well, that sucked. Can't blow a lead like that at home, even if you only deserved to be up 1-0.
