Apologies to Leicester, clearly they are just the best team with the best players, bar none. There's no one in the world I'd take over their starting XI, world class the lot of them.

I'm not being ironic to any of you, all my posts are my opinion. If you don't want to talk about football then go on.
What I'm trying to say is that all of you just see how the team's performing this current season and completely forget that the team has 4 consecutive seasons playing great football. This is a fact.
If a player is considered by me a world class skilled player for his position is my approach to the sport. Move on.

The only players I'd consider remotely 'class', nevermind 'world class' are Mahrez and Kante. A lot of players are having great seasons but if you could tell me that Leicester could play in the Champions League against a top side and they wouldn't have the floor wiped with them, you're deluded. Wes Morgan isn't world class, he's solid and in the form of his life. Huth is a good Premier League centre back who when he joined Leicester I thought was taking a sideways step and also is in the form of his life. Leicester as a team are doing a good job of establishing a unitary mentality and they're working hard off the ball to create their chances. On Tuesday we were the better team, they were more clinical which has been the case many times this season and it serves them well.

A lot of Leicester's good play this year has been through many of these players having played together a while who are now under a manager who can actually get some good football out of them. They're also lucky to have no European commitments and having been generally poor in the cups. If the likes of Arsenal, City, maybe even Chelsea, had such a season of playing so few games, they'd be running away with it. It's how Liverpool were in this position two years ago. I'm enjoying it for now, I'm glad they proved me wrong and I hope they win it but next season will be different and I expect them to drop down the league again, especially with Chelsea having no Europe and likely spending big in the summer.

So you think Liverpool was the better team in Tuesday's 2-0 defeat against Leicester? Ok... I guess you still think Liverpool is a better team than Leicester and deserves to be Top 5.
Poor cup performances? When? You mean the 2nd team which was up 1-2 against Spurs and the ref invented a penalty for the final 2-2?
Bring on the money aspect. It's so convenient again. Leicester are poor despite having a multi billionaire chairman.
I don't care if it's Leicester or any other team. The same applies for teams like West Ham and Southampton. You keep underestimating the power of some teams and you keep forgetting the new TV contracts.

Undoubtedly, the only issue was being clinical. You do realise that many times the better team loses in football? Like Boxing Day, remember that? I've already admitted I was wrong about Leicester but you seem intent on making a compliment an insult and that's your problem.

And by poor cup performance I mean you didn't make it past the first hurdle. Not that you played poorly in the game, more that you didn't get any further.

I've never once said Leicester are poor. Most teams in the top two leagues have billionaire owners, it doesn't mean they use it. Leicester certainly don't. Isn't Okazaki their record signing at £9m? It's admirable more than anything but moneyball only works for so long. To keep this up they will have to take risks with their money.

Again, what exactly is the power of Leicester? All throughout this season you've been very quick to forget where you came from and treated this season not as an anomaly but something you'd expect. Treat it for what it is and enjoy it rather than feeling the need to defend the club (from nonexistent attacks you like to invent) but also acknowledge that Leicester aren't one of the best teams in the league and they've just had a season where a lot of things have gone in their favour.

Was there seriously a discussion of Robert Huth being a world class defender? I'm going to pretend that was a moment we spent in the Twilight zone.

Anyway, next Sunday is going to be huge. If Arsenal keep their lead at Bournemouth, they'll be five points behind Leicester City, same as Spurs. Arsenal and Leicester play at The Emirates on Sunday, and Spurs and City square off. The top four teams all in action against another top four team? Can't wait.

Fun match to watch. Chelsea were the better side, IMO, but extending to 10 straight without a loss against United will have to be the consolation.

One of those games they call a tale of two halves. We were lucky not to be down 3 goals in the first half, and United could have easily conceded 3 in the second half.

Draw is probably the right result.

I'll be honest. I've only seen Leicester games since they came into the premier league. They weren't great up until they won a bunch of matches to avoid relegation.

They hired Ranieri, made some shrewd signings and now find themselves in 1st place. They have beaten the teams they're supposed to beat as well as beating City, Spurs, Chelsea, and Liverpool. They also drew United and lost to Arsenal.

They are having a wonderful season and I agree that they are staying in this race. I can't speak to their performances in the Championship the previous 2 seasons you referenced.

You're right to express your opinion on who is world class. I just think you're overrating your team. To me, world class players are the best of the best. Messi, Suarez, Ronaldo, Neymar, Iniesta, and Lewandowski are world class players. Sorry but how many Leicester players would start for Barcelona, Real, Bayern, or Juve? Heck if Chelsea is on form, would any of them start over the likes of an in form Fabregas, Matic, Costa or Hazard? That's why people have a go at you sometimes. You're entitled to your opinion but again, you come across as a know it all with some of your posts.

Like I said just enjoy that your team is having an awesome season but don't sit here trying to tell us that this was kind of expected based on a season avoiding relegation and 2 seasons in the Championship.

Nobody is saying, or has said, that Leicester are poor. It's not about having money, or having a "multi-billionaire chairman" as you put it. It's about spending the money you have. Chelsea are going to be spending big to try and get back into the top 4. Do you think Leicester are going to spend big to try and compete with them? Because if not, this might be Leicester's only season of glory. And I'm not saying Leicester have to go out and spend 200 mil in the transfer market. But they can't go out and spend 10 mil and expect to remain in the top 4.

fearwhatnow, you seem to think people on this site have it out for Leicester, when if you actually read the replies people are rooting for Leicester and love what they are doing this season. But if someone says Leicester isn't filled with world class players, or that it wasn't expected that a team that fought to avoid relegation would take the league by storm the next season and win it all (and let us not forget that Leicester haven't won the league yet), you take it as a personal affront. You take it as if people are insulting the honor of the Leicester City Football club But there is no need to do that. There is not a single person here (that I have read, at least) claiming that Leicester aren't a great football team. People are saying that Leicester have a fantastic squad, but they are not filled with world class players. And that if Leicester want to repeat this success next season, they will have to spend money. Those are not insults.

Edit: Also, PabloLFC never claimed in his post that Liverpool are a better team than Leicester. He said that Liverpool were the better team THAT DAY. Meaning, despite the loss Liverpool played better. Whether that is true or not is up for debate, but nowhere was Pablo claiming that Liverpool deserve to be top 5 while Leicester do not.

Sorry but Pablo must be the only person on the planet that believes Liverpool played better in that particular match. KG posted a month ago an article about ball possession in modern football. 73%-27% possession does not mean anything unless you're Barcelona and you're creating chance after chance having the defense in constant panic situation.
I didn't say anything about insults. There was a specific ironic post. My posts are always friendly.
Anyway, do you think spending huge amount of money for overrated players is wise? Would you personally sign a new deal with Mignolet as Liverpool did?
