      That's hysterical.

"Alright lads. 4-4-2. Two banks of 4. Knock it up to the big lad up top who will knock it down to the little lad next to him."

Had no business being in charge of a team like that in the first place

He did get a bit unlucky at the Euros in the fact that his team picked up multiple injuries in pretty much the only position where they were thin. One of which was their captain and main defensive organizer. They were completely lost in getting organized for set pieces, and constantly out of position. In game, that comes down to the players.

Not saying he's a great manager, but he also wasn't dealt the best hand there.

I mean, I understand what you are saying, but I just don't think it matters. The amount of talent Belgium has at their disposal should see them making the finals of most tournaments. Even at the World Cup, they have just never looked like a top side under Wilmots. No direction, nothing even remotely resembling a system of any kind (aside from "hey Germany plays with center backs instead of fullbacks and they are really good, so let's do that").

If they get a decent manager they will be incredibly dangerous.

That is true, they don't have an identity.

Classic. At the very least they'll have a clear plan unlike Roy.

Sunderland to get Moyes as a replacement? I wonder if it's a blessing for them, seems like most supporters are singing Big Sam's praises after managing to keep that team up.

Lots of reputable sources saying he's in advanced talks with Sunderland. Now 1/6 odds with the bookies.
