Does "get rid of it" mean "take a shot on goal regardless of how good your angle is"? Because if so, then yeah me too.

Oh I do love me a shot on goal. I also love when people think "i'm creative" for doing so. Naa fam, that was my only option lol.

This very low percentage shot didn't work the last 4 times I tried it, but it's definitely going to work THIS time.

I play 7-a-side Mondays, 5-a-side Wednesdays and 11-a-side Sundays. I never realized before living in Europe that a) there were so many variations of football, b) how much harder it is with smaller teams and c) how tactical it can be in smaller teams. A couple times I joined teams organized by local pubs or through work and it was sort of a free for all but I have a set position in my teams now. I play midfield in 5s, usually in a 1-2-1 formation, I play midfield in 7s in a 2-3-1 and center back in 11s in a 4-4-2.

I gotta say though. I started out my small sided football in Spain which was my first landing spot in Europe and that was probably the hardest bunch of games I’ve ever played. Even the bad players are good.

I have been playing since I was age 3... I still play at least a couple times a week at age 41 in the indoor leagues (6 v 6 including keepers) and tournaments in the area and sometimes I play where STLFC plays at soccer park 11 v 11. I am going to continue to play as far as long as I can. I can't get enough and I'm lucky at the moment with no injuries and some people even don't think i'm over 30 when I'm playing in some of the over 30 leagues which makes me feel good. they complain about how fast i am ... I'm not going to take it for granted and just continue to play forever I can and enjoy it.

I love the game and now have a nephew who plays for the STLFC youth team which is pretty cool.. it gets me more involved and fit again working and training with him

The Morning league wrapped up today with a cheap and cheesy awards ceremony where I was awarded best defender.



I've started playing 4 times a week morning and evening. My Gym purchased the Vikings old training facility and opened up a free play soccer field, so we play five-a-side there as well.

Our 5-a-side league has basically a "league title" that doesn't really mean much, and then after the league is over we do a playoffs which is where you can win an actual trophy.

3 seasons in a row we've won the league by a pretty decent margin and then lost in the championship final, twice to the same team even.

Hopefully this new season will be different haha.

We play in a small league which has a knockout cup throughout the season, we normally place dead last for both haha

I played up until the 3rd grade.

However, I’ve been playing the beautiful games cousin rugby since 2011. First league match is Saturday.
