Well, that's that. Portugal to the final.

I don't care who wins tomorrow now. As long as who ever wins destroys Portugal.

So much hate for this Portugal team, I actually enjoyed watching them play. Their midfield has been really great and Renanto Sanches has been fun to watch, would be interesting to see if they can win it all.

Their good entertainment value and tbh, have played pretty well so far this tournament. If they finished their chances they would have walked through the group (although the seeding would have changed).

So much dislike for Portugal on the internet right now.

Portugal tried for many years to play high-flowing, attacking soccer and it got them absolutely nowhere. Now they have changed their approach and everyone hates them for it.

Portugal of old would have created about 4 times as many chances as they did today, and then lost anyway.

It has nothing to do with any of that for me. Or the fact that they beat Wales. I just can't stand Ronaldo and his cry baby antics. I also hate Pepe with a passion. I will root for them to lose every game they ever play while those two are on the squad. Its nothing against the team as a whole. And I quite like a few of the other players. But my dislike for those two far out weighs the rest.

Although I will give Ronaldo credit today for not being the big cry baby he has been the rest of the tournament.

Plus I personally like Germany and France on the whole much more. So I don't have a preference of which one wins tomorrow. Well, maybe that isn't true. I am slightly more inclined to root for France. And even if the winner wasn't playing Portugal, I'd still want the winner of that game to win the final. It would just be a little sweeter for me knowing Ronaldo will be acting like a 5 year old who isn't getting his way once they go down a goal.

Hatred for Portugal really ramped up in 2006 and I'll hate them long after Ronaldo is gone. Insufferable team with insufferable players top to bottom.

Funny thing is Pepe has completely cleaned up his act since Jose left Madrid. Think he hasn't had a single red card (1 max) since. He's consistently one of the best CBS in the world.

I'll give you Bruno Alves though, and Moutinho is a bit of a douche, but honestly most of that team is pretty young so I dunno how people can say they are an insufferable team when most people have hardly seen half this team play. Their older players from previous teams fit that bill but not really this team.

Also, has anybody watched France? Easily the most insufferable team in the tournament. I don't think I've ever seen Koscielny dive before playing for Arsenal, I'd not have thought he was even capable, but every game for France I'm watching him get caught out and throwing himself on the ground to get the call (which he does, because host nation). Not to mention Rami, who is ten times worse (because Sevilla is like a terrible combination of Stoke-level fouling and Barca-level diving). Throw in a Sissoko Gignac and you've got an unlimited buffet of douche.

I hope Germany romps them tomorrow.

^^^There were multiple times when I laughed reading that post.

The Sevilla line and the buffet line, among them. Nice work!

Nobody excluded France from insufferability. Interestingly enough, with all of that they're *still* probably the *least* insufferable French side I can remember. At least Karim Benzema's not on this one.

I really hope Thomas Muller cleans up his act soon in his career but I'm afraid it's not going to happen. He flops and whines enough to be on Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, etc. It's sickening to watch.
