If you weren't a fan/supporter of your current club who would you be supporting?

As a Chelsea fan it pains to me to say this but I'd be either a Liverpool or Milan fan.

STLFC and future MLS STL club

I love that you say you would be a Liverpool supporter. respect that and love it

I on the other hand could never be a supporter of chelsea or the mancs... never once liked either of them. I have many friends who are chelsea and united supporters however. AND I do however like chelsea's new boss conte... and if man u had klopp it would make me somewhat attracted to them because how can you not like klopp?

I have to really think about this one.. but if I had to pick a team from in the premiere league it would probably been arsenal or newcastle or leeds.. despite my hatred for mr. stanK kroenke. back when I first started watching the EPL and started my love for Liverpool.. was when Leeds had Harry Kewell.. he was the most exciting winger and one of my favorite players in the league then... they were really fun to watch. It also seemed like back then in the states watching the EPL.. after Liverpool and united and arsenal.. it seemed like Leeds newcastle were on the most... back then it wasn't like today where they show all clubs always and you can basically watch everything. one of the main reasons I became a Liverpool fan is because as early as I can remember soccer being on in the states.. liverpool or either man u or arsenal was on the most

I also like juve or dortmund or milan in the other leagues.

if I was new casual... to pick an epl team I would maybe recommend maybe west ham or southampton as well after of course recommending Liverpool.

i prefer clubs with great history and european royalty and the the best supporters...

but sometimes I am attracted to a style of play some clubs play and so would like them.. for example, arsenal, dortmund, and juve I like all their styles of play. I don't really ever like the 2 top spanish sides.. the only time I have is when Zidane played for Madrid and that is because I think Zidane is the greatest I ever seen play and they had Ronaldo#9.. but usually I can't stand barca and madrid as of late.. bunch of crybabies

oh.. I forgot to mention.. I also have had a soft spot for Roma for a long time as well because of Totti because I use to use him a lot on the old PES games on PS2.. same with Juve.. I use to use them the most against the high power chelsea team on those games. that's another reason I start to become a fan of certain teams because of who I use to use on the video games. I also guess like Bayern I suppose because I will use them a lot in the past as well against others who the normal best teams in the games usually.

This is usually how I explain to Americans the difference between a fan and a supporter. You can be a fan of many teams, but a supporter is basically "all in".

Chelsea could get relegated to the Conference (inb4 someone like Kreb quotes this saying "that's the dream) and it wouldn't change a thing for me (except obviously quite a bit of sadness). Chelsea will be the team I support for the rest of my life.

I like Inter a lot, but if they got relegated or something to that effect, I wouldn't care that much, probably just feel a bit bad for them.
totally agree.. that's how I am with Liverpool no matter what and before any sports team... even though I grew a hardcore Cardinals baseball fan.. and love all St. Louis sports teams. Liverpool comes first to me before anything... and is a love of my life.

      United, Spurs, Chelsea.

Relegate one, liquidate one, one wins the league.

      Go.

      ha ha....

Man U, Arsenal because StanK Kroenke deserves this, and Liverpool

ps. Chelsea could of been of my relegate one before last season.. but having a bad season last year and finishing below Liverpool and getting Konte helped that.

and if you want to add promote one to that list... I would pick Leeds or Nottingham forest

I'd end up as a City supporter.

Hahaha, that was directed at Kreb but yeah, let's do this.

Everybody pick your 3 LEAST favorite teams; one gets relegated, one gets liquidated and one wins the league.

To make it more fun, the team you pick to win the league wins by beating your team in your own stadium.

Wins: City. 'Cause they'll probably do it anyway and who cares...

Relegate: United. For the massive ~SHOCKWAVE~ that would ensue, Ibra vs. Huddersfield Town, etc.

Liquidate: West Brom. I don't imagine they have many fans and therefore the least amount of tears will be shed.

Okay, I don't really hate them. They're kinda like Nickelback, harmless and irrelevant.

Relegate - Man U. Why liquidate when you can watch their fans suffer through at least a season in the Championship?

Liquidate - Arsenal. So I don't have to hear their fans whine about not spending money every year, just let the board take all the money out of the club.

Win the League - Liverpool. I know what you're thinking. "That's not how this works!" Well, I've hurled more expletives at this club than any other over the past couple years, so I'm going with it.

I've only been (obsessed) with football for 2 years--so this is tough to answer.

After the WC2014 I decided I need to pick a club to support. I chose Arsenal simply because they had a cool name, logo, and stadium. Silly I'm sure but now I am beyond obsessed with them (pre-ordered kit this year, new tradition lol).

All that to say I don't know a lot of history of other clubs. If I didn't choose Arsenal, I'd probably roll with Everton or Liverpool. Goodison Park is a gem, and I really like the trio of Barkley, Stones, and Lukaku (all of which will likely be gone soon lol).
