What a nasty fall by Fernando Torres, looking like he's doing all right now though, scary stuff for sure.

That was awful to watch, especially seeing the reactions of the players. Gimenez in particular looked like he wasn't sure Torres would make it, poor guy was absolutely beside himself.Comment

I cringed when I saw the players in a panic moving his head and trying to pry open his mouth. That's the last thing you want to do when someone has a head/neck injury. It's quite a widespread misconception that an person can swallow their tongue when unconscious or having a seizure.Comment

Fleetwood Town has a legit shot at being promoted this year. Right now they are 2nd. I know they still got 11 games left but still this is pretty amazing.

Sadly, people will focus on Navas' two screwups earlier in the match. So many people have been desperate to find reasons to have him replaced pretty much on a weekly basis for the past few years, it's amazing he made it to this final season.Comment

And just saw a stat that Ramos has scored 67 goals for Madrid. More than Zidane, Van Nistelrooy, Beckham and Figo have managed. That's quite amazing, even more so because he's a defender.Comment

I know I'm the only one who posts around here about Scottish football, but Rangers get a 4-0 victory in Pedro Caixinha's debut as manager.
Gone is Warburton's passive 4-3-3. Pedro came out in an aggressive, high pressing, 4-2-3-1 and nearly doubled our goal differential on the season in one match.

Birmingham City fired their manager and hired Gianfranco Zola in December when they sat in 7th place.
Zola resigned today as they sit in 20th place.
Smooth move guys.
Btw, the guy they fired is now at Derby County and sitting in 9th.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 04-17-2017, 02:28 PM.Comment
