The All Other Leagues/Competitions Discussion Thread

There is a timeline where Salah is the favorite for that award after the summer is up. Honestly could be the best chance for someone to break the streak. Salah breaks the EPL scoring record and beats Messi/Ronaldo to the European Golden Boot, Liverpool wins the CL, Egypt makes the knockouts with Salah scoring a few goals, and Portugal/Arg don't win the whole thing. Salah should certainly be considered the favorite going into the start of next season if all this happens.

        Make us dream Mo.

There is no timeline where Salah is the favorite, even the one you just laid out.

He could definitely have a good chance to win it in that scenario, but he still wouldn't be the favorite.

Even in your scenario, Ronaldo could still break the CL single season scoring record again (his own record), and win the WC golden boot without Portugal going past the quarters, and Neymar could lead Brazil to the final.

Sunderland will be playing in League One next year after getting relegated today. For back to back relegations.

Benevento officially relegated, despite their win at San Siro.

Benevento losing their 1st 14 games didn't help matters, just sayin'.

Koulibaly heads home a corner in the 90th minute as Napoli beat Juventus 1-0 in Turin to pull within 1 point. What a finish!

In a somewhat surprising move(not as much if he didn't already have a history of loyalty) but Jonas Hector extended his stay with Koln for 2 years.

Cut that lead to 1 and a deserved 3 points IMO. No shots on target for Juve either .

Juve travel to Inter next week too. I’m glad to see at least one of the major leagues going down to the wire.

Juve still play both Roma and Inter, easily the two teams that hate them most and would relish the chance to end their title run.

Roma perhaps could be too focused on the CL, but I would highly recommend anyone with free time to watch the Inter v Juve game because it's going to be an absolute bloodbath.

Inter with top 4 to play for, home game vs Juve, and a chance to end their title streak? Going to be spicy as HELL.

Yeah Brahv, Serie A hasn’t been this competitive in years. Just imagine if Milan ever gets it together.

Napoli has a tricky one against Fiorentina. I’m wondering if Sarri starts Milik over Mertens. Dries hasn’t scored in forever.

Really looking forward to see Icardi outplay Higuain and still get left off the World Cup squad.

It’s genuinely bonkers how underused Icardi has been for Argentina. He’s legitimately been a top 10 striker in Europe since he was a teenager, and top 5 for the last 2-3 years.

Although to be fair, Higuain has his uses, Aguero should be the one left out for Icardi.
