That Morata miss just about sums up the standard of this match so far.

Morata's confidence in front of goal just about hitting rock bottom here.

Danny Ings, welcome back to the score sheet! First goal since October 2015.

He last scored in Rodgers last game in charge.

So close to a 2nd too.

I hate the Hawthorns. Glad they're going down.

West Brom and Stoke going down would be a truly magical season to me.

West Brom will still be going down but have to give them credit for fighting back today.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp:*"When you play football you need a normal pitch, when it gets drier it's not good for the football-playing side.

"Each club can decide it like they want. If West Brom want to have more possession next year in the Championship I'm sure the pitch will be watered."

What a baby, it's amazing how much he complains after a loss but can be so delightful if they win. Just accept the fact that you're team blew a 2 goal lead to a relegation side and move along without the comments. He blamed the pitch and said no frustrations with his players. Wow.

It's the manager's responsibility to adapt the playing style to the pitch conditions. Complaining about it in retrospect is just childish and pathetic.

Can't remember if Poch complained in similar situations, but he's also reluctant to make obvious tactical changes based upon conditions from time to time.

Sanchez and Eriksen should split the assist for the Spurs goal.

Yes they should. The whole half has been great back and forth. Spurs needed to finish one of those chances early to make it 2-0, they won't have many more chances.

Well, he isn't trying to damage his players morale and confidence. I'd rather him blame the pitch then go out there and throw players under the bus ahead of a champions league match.

Klopp has those chats privately with the players instead of in public, like any good manager should. Unlike another manager who throws his players under the bus for fun.
