Re: The 2017-2018 EPL Discussion Thread
Probably, but I specifically pointed out Rudiger because he got away with a clear yellow as well. On the break where Kante makes that nice tackle from behind on Mane. As the break starts, Rudiger is blatantly holding on to Salah's jersey to prevent him from taking off. A clever play as the ref's back was turned, but it definitely prevented Salah from being in on that break sooner and would have been an easy yellow if anyone saw it.
I don't even think they showed a replay of it because everyone was talking about that nice tackle.
I thought he could/should have received a yellow for persistent fouling. He had 2-3 fouls in the course of like 10 mins.

Re: The 2017-2018 EPL Discussion Thread
It was one of those games where, if we hadn't won, I'd probably be complaining a lot more.
We won, so I don't really care, but Milner, Robertson, VVD and Firmino having 0 yellow cards between them at the final whistle is definitely a bit of comedy hour.Comment

Re: The 2017-2018 EPL Discussion Thread
Tonight's match as massive. A win by either Swansea or Southampton relegates West Brom. A win by Southampton would virtually assure them safety as they would have at least a +8 goal difference on Swansea (that's just if they win only 1-0, could be more than that with a big win). But then again Southampton play Man City who were just shut out by Huddersfield. They are still chasing records so a 10-0 City win could be possible.Comment

Re: The 2017-2018 EPL Discussion Thread
2014-15 season
Southampton finish 7th, qualify for Europe
Swansea finish 8th
Stoke City finish 9th
West Ham finish 12th, qualify for Europe
West Brom finish 13th
(and Sunderland finished 16th)
3 terrible years for some clubs.Support Local Sports

what don't you like about them, i'm mostly indifferent, i have a light bond with Albion due to FM and one of my good friends supporting them, but I'm not bothered either way by them. I'd rather have Wolves and West Brom or neither.Support Local Sports
