Totally agree. There was no malice at all from Mane. He had only eyes for the ball. Unfortunately his boot was too high and you are endangering the safety of the opponent. Correct call given. As Klopp said post match, Man City have to be the worst opponent to be up against when you are down to 10 men.

Man United have gone for 3 in midfield against Stoke today, bit of a sign of respect from Mourinho.

Another big game for Paul Pogba. He's delivered so far this season so let's hope for more of the same.

Standard 3 match punishment for straight red card due to dangerous play is plenty.

For a multiple month ban you'd have to do something legitimately malicious and intentional like grabbing an opponent by their neck and throwing them to the ground, and then doing it two more times.

Man, Renato Sanches was garbage today. Got to be up there with one of the worst debuts. Gave the ball away more than anybody in the entire match.

He was very underwhelming at Bayern too.

Really bizarre considering how good he was at the Euros last year.

Not really bizarre though, he moved too soon.

Another year or two in Portugal would have been best probably

Man Burnley are such a boring team to watch but really didn't expect them to have 7 points after 4 games, Chelsea will surely regret not getting any points from that home opener with them later on in the season.

LOL, that Coquelin dive reminds me of Luis Suarez goal celebration when he did that in front of David Moyes.

Maybe he'll think twice before throwing his head into a 50/50 like 25 yards out of the goal in the future.

I don't necessarily disagree with the call, but Matt Ritchie did basically the same thing to a defender and it was a yellow. Keepers still get that protection even when they're nowhere near their goal.

With his history of them it was honestly only a matter of time before Mane picked up a red. Just wish it didn't come with the mandatory 3-match ban.

Oh I didn't post the pic to justify Mane's red and I agree that keepers get a lot of protection, at times too much. Just wanted to show that Ederson's ugly mug got uglier.
