I can't wait to hear all the excuses and finger pointing from Jose.

Shades of our second leg game vs PSG under Jose; time-wasting and playing it safe instead of going for the kill, ends up backfiring.

I'm actually surprised United fielded that strong of a team considering they play Saturday and then we're into the heavy Christmas schedule.

Jose loves the League Cup and has always taken it pretty seriously. I could be wrong but I believe he's won it more than any other manager since he first arrived in England.

Also, considering that City, Chelsea and Arsenal were all favorites to advance, he probably didn't want to risk being the only one of the big boys to bow out at this stage.

Chelsea vs Arsenal in the league cup semis?

                I, for one, am shocked.

Still can’t believe that both Vardy and Mahrez missed from the spot yesterday vs City.

I️ like the guy but he can be a real tool sometimes.

And by sometimes I️ mean most of the time.

"The reality is that the players that were on the pitch were the ones that were not in the last match," said Mourinho.

"They are the ones that not going to be in the next match. I think they lost a good opportunity also to play semi-finals and also to have two more matches to play.”

But you gotta respect the quote above when talking about his guys.

It's the most asinine thing in English football.

I actually think they should go 1 leg in the semis and also straight to penalties after 90 in all rounds. Though having a 4th sub in extra time is a good thing for now.

Fair play to Bristol; that was a great goal in Fergie time. Would've loved to move to the semis and possibly defend the cup, but we weren't clinical. A lot of our guys aren't getting game time either so that would've been an added bonus.

Since they're the only fairy-tale club left, I hope they manage to make it all the way. Two legs against City will be quite the ask, though!
