Yeah, there was never going to be one when the composite spine of the squad is non-existent.

It's almost as if tactically isolating a guy who wants to pass the ball and move isn't a great idea.

The players didn't show up, but it was also glaringly obvious that Emery got the tactics wrong on this one.

We need to pay for him to leave and live with that financial burden because it'll be less of one than if we keep him for his entire contract.

Oof, put all your eggs in the EL basket and got absolutely destroyed by a rival. Thoughts and prayers Arsenal fans.

any reasonable fan saw this coming, we haven't been good for most of the season and have skated by on luck and the little bit of skill that is left in squad. Chelsea with Hazard are very easily better than us, and Chelsea without Hazard are probably on top of us by a little bit. It stings a little bit, but putting all the eggs in one basket when you have no eggs doesn't have a huge impact.

Let’s not act like we were marching into the Final with a well oiled machine.

We were/are on the verge of implosion plus the injuries.

You guys were the favorite, hell the favorite to make Top 4 but you bottled all of it.

You better hope Spurs don’t win the UCL lol

                        Edit - marching

I mean neither team was a well oiled machine, but if you put both rosters of players in front of me and you try to tell me that Arsensl have more talent than Chelsea, well, lmao.

Both teams had some key injuries, that's whatever to me. Hopefully RLC can also heal his back in his time off.

Weve been uninspired all season, and any pundit talking Arsenal up as a clear favorite is delusional.

That said going in, just about anything felt plausible as an outcome, anyone who didnt prepare for a total capitulation by Arsenal was fooling themselves.

I actually DVRd that game thinking it would be riveting. My god I should have known better, and this is coming from someone that ultimately walk away happy Arsenal get embarrassed. Still, it was such a bad game with the result seemingly sealed before the 60th minute , I never got that feeling of Arsenal fans walking away gutted. More just walking away with the "well, what did you expect to happen" look.

That's how it feels for me, but I tread lightly in fandom. I can imagine some die hards are pretty distraught.
