    Re: Nations League discussion

Its very strange watching a game without people at the game in the stands. Its way too quiet. You can hear every player yelling.

I'm surprisingly way more interested in League D than anything that goes on in Leagues B and C.

Nice to see Gibraltar get its first win.

My biggest gripe with this league concept is limiting subs. I hate seeing my Chelsea guys play 90mins in glorified friendlies.

          Not a fan.

I get it, but still not a fan.

When do young players get run outs, if matches are supposed to matter?

If matches are supposed to matter, what happens if no one really cares?

Pickford escapes conceding a pen AND getting a red card all because Rodrigo stayed on his feet.

This is why diving is so much more complicated than people make it out to be. You literally get punished for doing the right thing, far more often than not.

Alternatively, you could just say this is another case for VAR.

ALSO could say it's another case for letting goal line refs do literally anything, as apparently they aren't allowed to even suggest that a foul might have occurred.

Not that MLS is a gold standard, but every game that I've watched with a non-soccer fan friend has included one of those instances where it's easy to point and say "this is why players dive, if they don't go down, nothing happens" Thankfully explaining it has done wonders to curb those who criticise it when it's a blatant dive.

Lukas Lerager is set to get game-time today vs Austria. He was one of my favorite players when he was at Viborg, mostly because in the few games I'm ever able to watch, it was pretty easy to see he was a class above. This will be his sixth appearance for Denmark.

Norway played a fairly good half against Bulgaria. Leading 1-0 but it should've been 3-0 if King weren't so sloppy in front of goal. Anyway, it almost looked like real football there for ~30 minutes.

                    Re: Nations League discussion

The ref in Norway-Bulgaria wasn't top notch either. Bulgaria played dirty and got 6 yellows. They should've gotten 8, including two second yellow.

King had an awful match, missed two 100% chances. But he also got kicked hard and dirty for 95 minutes, so he looked absolutely broken after 65 minutes. Can't believe he wasn't taken off.

Baffling that even FIFA agreed to using VAR but UEFA won't

These interlulls really suck the life out of the season.

That being said, it was great to see Lerager get a goal in the last game!

I’m waiting for Liverpool fans to start a petition so scrap this useless tournament.

                          They’ve been decimated.

Just a side-effect from playing in a Klopp system. Dortmund used to get wrecked in the injury department as well when Klopp was there.

Playing in such a high-intensity system makes you more prone to injury in the long run.

I'm starting a petition to ask Liverpool media to stop panicking over every little thing that happens. The only one who's not available for sure tomorrow is Keita.

Haven't even really turned up the intensity this season nearly as much. Klopp seems to be preparing more for the ridiculous holiday schedule this year.
