    Re: 20/21 Fantasy Premier League

This season has been bonkers. And players so far in the early season are having insane games and just going off fantasy wise. There have a been a bunch of 30+ scorers so far this season. So I was curious to compare to the last two seasons.

So far this season in the first four weeks we have:

    Week 1:
    Mo Salah - 46
    Reece James - 32

    Week 2:
    KDB - 39
    Harry Kane - 46
    Son - 50
    Neal Maupay - 31
    Zaha - 31
    Calvert-Lewin - 35

    Week 3:
    Mason Mount - 32
    Vardy - 36

    Weel 4:
    Kane - 36
    James Rodriguez - 36
    Callum Wilson - 34
    Ben Chilwell - 40
    Grealish - 54
    Ollie Watkins - 46
    Son - 37
    Creswell - 37
    Jorginho - 32

19 players over 30 in the first 4 weeks. And 6 over 40! And that insane game from Grealish where he broke 50.

Compare that to last year in the first 4 weeks, there was only 8 players over 30 points. And only one of those was over 40 points.

And the year before that, 6 players over 30 points. And only one over 40.

Granted the bench scores are not visible from the past two years. So the numbers could be slightly higher. But I would wager only a couple bench players in each season mos likely; if that.

This season is going to be interesting I think. As long as these insane games keep happening. And I hope they do. Its fun.

I really want to find a spot in my lineup for Pedro Neto but you can only have 3 Forwards in your eleven He plays in midfield for Wolves. ( Not every game but he played there last weekend). Wish they would change his position.

In the past they had a few players with flexible positions. Jota was one, for example, so you could put him in either a M or F slot, which was fantastic.

I don't know if any players have that ability this year, though.

Ben Godfey has M, D by his name. The only one I could recall.

            Bale has M/F

They did a better job than last year in classifying positions but they still struggle with wingers and whether or not their forwards or middies.

Yeah, there are definitely multiple positions. Not sure how it's defined. For example, is Pulisic really a midfielder - that's his only position? I dunno, but I'm glad I get to use him in midfield. Same with Antonio at West Ham.

Most interesting waiver activity, you ask?

Klopp Hugs dropping Keita for Cavani.

Yes, that Keita, who was predicited to be a top-ten player in terms of points, and even called a steal the the draft, I believe.

                Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Won't be the first time I'll be wrong.

That's alright, Bamford will maybe take that mantle instead.

I wouldn't have even noted it, or remembered it if it wasn't for the confidence you had when making that pick. To be fair, when I had him at the end of the season and he started, he'd give me 12–16 points, which is very solid.

And hey, I drafted Ozil. Yeah.

Why just be wrong when you can be CONFIDENTLY wrong?

But really I wasn't sure what would happen if I put the same player to drop (Ayew) for both of my claims. I'm a bit surprised that none of the 4 above me put in for the Leeds signing tbh

^ I thought about Raphinha but I already have 6 Forwards. Like I expressed the other day, I wish some players such as wingers were classified as Midfielders. You have Callum Hudson-Odoi and he's listed as an F, I have Harvey Barnes who pretty much plays the same position and he's a MF.

I desperately needed a defender so I went with Telles, who can hopefully whip in some assists to Cavani.

To the bench with you, Shaw!

With my luck, Cavani will play like 5 matches and mutually terminate his contract in March or something.

I love the new PL time slot schedule as a fan but for fantasy is sucks.

You can really get screwed with a lack of options in some of the late games.
