    Football Styles Around the World

Are there any websites, books, articles, etc. that talk about the different styles of play in leagues around the world? For example, Serie A in Brazil seems more free-flowing and quick paced compared to leagues in Europe. Whereas teams in the Bundesliga tend to be more structured, utilizing a methodical build-up.

I'm interested in learning about different styles of ultras as well. The western hemisphere ultras tend to have more instruments (drums, brass, etc.) whereas the European nations seem to be more about chants.

My examples are what I've noticed in my limited exposure to football outside the MLS and USL. So I'm sure there's more out there to learn from (including members here).

The Mixer, and Zonal Marking, both written by Michael Cox are fantastic. They focus on England and then Europe, but are a great place to start.

Inverting the Pyramid is also great for such a thing, as it shows how the history of the game has evolved from parts from around the world as well.

Not sure on supporter culture personally as it's something I'm slightly less intrigued by.
