It's much ado about nothing. Klopp used the words "false positives" but the follow-up tests were done later in the week (after the scheduled time of the game), so of course you're going to have some tests that come up negative at that point.

I'm not even sure why this was a thing. If anything, Arsenal should have been happy this match was postponed. Gave them some extra rest and more options going into the FA Cup match. Which they promptly squandered.

Yeah I figured since it stemmed from Klopp’s presser comments that it was probably just a case of him misspeaking because you know, he’s not a doctor.

As much as I wanted to see you guys get in trouble once I read the EFL’s statement it made more sense, believe it or not

I honestly don’t give a ****, but for the sake of offering perspective—those who do give a **** are making the point that Liverpool should’ve forfeited the game or played with the weakened squad that they had, but instead only now gave up second-leg home advantage.

Like I said, I don’t give a ****, but those who do are making the point of how it benefited Liverpool, not Arsenal.

        Once again, I don’t give a ****.

This is what I was concerned with when we knew Salah and Mane were out for January. We have basically no depth at all. This is why Man City will win the league. If things aren't clicking, they can call on Gundogan, Foden, Grealish, etc. We bring on Curtis Jones and Joe Gomez.

All that aside, Arteta got his tactics spot on after Xhaka went off. Deserved 0-0.

                Alexander-Arnold's delivery was pitiful tonight.

Arsenal actually had the best chance of the game (Saka). Pretty boring from the neutral perspective but damn, Arsenal better lock Lokonga away until the Spurs & 2nd leg. Their only true midfielder left .

I feel bad for all the things I said about Ben White early in the season.

I wonder if the league will look unfavorably on them for loaning out a capable midfielder (AMN) so early in the window when they knew they were gonna lose 2 players to AFCON.
