Full transparency here… I went to queue up a player (Rico Henry) for waivers yesterday during the West Ham match which was still in matchday 2. He added straight to my roster instead of the normal waiver process.

I don’t know if that’s how things work this year or it was a glitch. No issues with dropping him if it was an indeed a glitch.

When was that player added to the player pool? If they’ve been sitting available for long enough they’re just a free agent and don’t have to go through waivers.

When was that player added to the player pool? If they’ve been sitting available for long enough they’re just a free agent and don’t have to go through waivers.

No idea but usually you’re not able to pick up a player while the game week is still going on and that player has already played.

Yeah, its a mistake. Because its set to clear waivers on Sun, Tue and Thur. So everyone who played Sat cleared Sun. Which they shouldn't have until Tue. Kreb will have to change it and drop Sun so its just Tue/Thur like it always was before last season. I think Sun was added because of all the crazy double weeks last season.

Fixed—back to only Tuesday and Thursday.

I don't remember it being on Sunday last season...that may have been something that was automatically updated without them pointing it out. The back-end/administrative settings are a pile of poo.

This would explain why I saw someone last week pick up a player immediately, who was newly added to the pool, but not from waivers. Ugh.

KG, I'd say keep the player, but I can manually move you to the bottom of the waiver list (or where you should be based on who else used a waiver) so it's essentially like you picked him off waivers.

Thoughts on that, everyone?

KG wasn't the only one who picked someone up Mon who played Sat. I also got someone. And two other teams. Only one of them isn't at the back of the WW line with the rest of us already. Just FYI.

Well...maybe we just leave it and move on now that the settings have been updated.

Alternate option is I manually undo each add/drop and then let things shake out correctly through waivers.

I may have gotten someone, I dunno. I've made a few transactions already. Wasn't even really paying attention to who had already played.
