Pulisic showing why you should just embellish and dive.

    Nice goal by Havertz though.

Literally this is why players dive.

Also that goal that got called back cause Adam Smith threw himself into Haevertz and fell down lmao.

And it's why no one will ever really respect the referees. They get manipulated and allow it to happen over and over.

To make it even worse. It was literally the same thing Bowen rightfully earned a PK for yesterday.

It really should have been 3-0, game over at that point but oh well… 3pts and we move.

Pulisic grub dragged by ESPN and given a 6/10... despite being into position to have 4 chances... one of them foiled by him not going down, and the other by his teammate's foul negating a goal.

Sure, he missed other chances, but come on...6?

I don't know if there's anything more useless than post-match player ratings. Whoever wrote those didn't want to, and it was likely one of the many things their editor told them to do.

Most post-match reports are done during the match so they can be up immediately after the match. Player ratings are part of that useless pile.

One of the reasons I recall being so intrigued by The Athletic was Michael Cox (Zonal Marking fame) talked about how the goal for their football section was to feel more like traditional newspaper reporting, and not focusing on match reports and immediate reporting. So, the matches happen on the weekend, and while some 'post-match' reporting is done, it would be the next day, or following days, and not an immediately released pile of crap.

Wasn’t even a foul lol, was just Adam Smith being himself

Haaland is the fastest player to score twenty goals in the league. About those who thought he wouldn’t hit twenty…yeah.

Without the World Cup, this would be 20 goals by the first week in December lmao.

Legitimately he’s as good as Mbappe, it’s just that Mbappe can dribble and is flashier so people think he’s better.

Haaland is scoring at a historic rate not even just for City, completely unreal player.

Looking at overall numbers, Mbappe is a much better passer as well. And we can't rule out what Mbappe does in international competitions. For fun, I did a career comparison on FBRef: https://fbref.com/en/stathead/player...r_id2=1f44ac21

Talking about Haaland specifically, TIFO did a video about him "breaking the EPL" a few months ago that's still relevant: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NeiWP5PxjU

If you squint, that's definitely David Luiz putting the ball into his own net.

Does he take the match ball home if he scores a third?

The crowd is yelling "SHOOT" when he gets the ball near their penalty area lol

TAA has defended very well tonight thus far.
