I genuinely wonder how much time Chelsea give Poch if things are slow or not looking the best. I hope none, and I know it’s easy to say oh they won’t sack him, but I still can’t help but wonder given the investment. Does he get the season no matter what? He should, but it doesn’t seem as if there’s a strategy other than buy players and give them to him, and hope he makes magic.

Too early to speculate too much, obviously, but will be interesting to see how much time and support he gets (especially considering the start).

3rd hat trick of the day. Brighton having their way with Newcastle.

A single win and three losses for Newcastle to start the season—I love it so much. I'm so so happy.

They didn't lose their second match until February last season. 3 in the spin.

At that time they also had more draws than wins. Smoke and mirrors

Watching Newcastle time waste in the 33rd minute while being down a goal was hilarious

That’s about when I turned it on and watched for a bit and thought to myself “this should be interesting, as Newcastle will need to push for an equalizer.”

                        No, not really.
