For as bad as United have been this year and today, it's just so much fun to read a whole bunch of whining posts here about them only to know you all watched in disappointment as they won.
Take a bow gents. You made it more fun.Yankees, Manchester United, Chicago Bears, New York RangersComment

LOL I don’t care what result they have right now, they’re in 6th. I find them amusing.Comment

That 2nd Rasmus goal was a nice finish. Very instinctual.
United hate aside, I thought you guys caught a little life with the injuries in this match. One of Shaw or Maguire was definitely going to get red carded, same with Casameiro before he was subbed.

Maguire 100% was going to find himself sent off if he stayed on. Shaw maybe, but he's a lot better player under pressure so who knows. Hopefully the appointment of a sporting director (pllllease finalize Ashworth) will start a much better focus on signings that make more sense not just for now, but for the future rather than bandaids.Yankees, Manchester United, Chicago Bears, New York RangersComment

I really enjoy seeing their Champions League campaign this year being the only taste they’ll likely get for years. As an Arsenal supporter, I very much know the irrelevancy they could fade into, despite their wealth.
Annoyed at losing the clean sheet, but that goal was very much fresh legs against a team who played in Europe on Wednesday. I don’t think Willock’s header even went where he wanted it to go.Comment

What’s even better is how much making the UCL f****d their finances and fan expectations.

Re: 2023–2024 English Football Thread
Started watching late, just in time to see the VVD header ruled out. Classic case of "is there a reason we can disallow this goal" as opposed to their own mantra of clear and obvious. Just looking for reasons to make themselves more visible as officials.
I am very much enjoying Carragher near tears while he's complaining, though.Comment

Chelsea’s goal may have been onside too. But we don’t know because for some reason we can’t get a good camera angle at Wembley. This country has no idea how to officiate a match properly.Comment
