Yeah it looked like his playing instincts just kicked in. He almost did it later in the game too.

Re: 2024-25 UEFA Competitions Thread
To me it's just one of those things that should literally never happen no matter the circumstances. I don't care if it was accidental. He shouldn't be practically standing on the pitch in the first place, but we all know how lax enforcement of being in the technical area is.Comment

Real Madrid always seem to find a way to get over the line in the Champions League. Atletico did its best but it wasn't quite good enough. Real Madrid vs Arsenal should also be another good tie to watch for the soccer fans.FanAmp - A Fun Place for All the F1 Fans!Comment

But I don't think that's the most bonkers Europa thing that happened this week.
Bodo, Norway -- north of the Arctic Circle -- advanced to the Europa League semifinals. Population is like 45,000. It's best know as the place people take the ferry to leave for the Lofoten Islands. Needless to say no club from Norway has ever won a major European title and it would be the smallest city by population to win (Apparently 2021 Europa League winners Villarreal have that distinction with a population of about 52,500).
And who do they play? None other than Tottenham, best known for never winning anything. Should be an easy pass to the final for Tottenham. But then again Spurs are going to Spurs.Comment
