    Re: The Transfer Thread

Reports are that Big Sam will be the man to lead West Ham back to the promised land.

West Ham will appoint Sam Allardyce as their new manager on Monday after changing the 56-year-old former Blackburn Rovers boss's mind about turning his back on English football.

Now there's a guy I'd pay to see Craig Bellamy fight.

Big Sam would just get one of his many goons he has on his teams to do his dirty work.

Are we talking about his tactics in a fight or on the pitch? I get confused as they're so similar.

Good news for the other teams in the EPL. One less spot for United to fill with someone of actual quality.

Borussia Dortmund have signed Ivan Perisic from Club Brugge in Belgium. Was the league's top scorer with 22 goals. Pretty good for a midfield player. It'll be interesting to see if he's put directly into Sahin's spot.

It's now official. Houllier has stepped down as manager at Aston Villa due to health concerns.

Yeah, unfortunately his heart condition proved to be too much... to overcome.

My bet is Hughes takes over.

                    Re: The Transfer Thread

So it sounds like Villa's list is:

                    Ancelotti
                    Hughes.

                    If they get Ancelotti...

Well, Hughes just resigned from Fulham. Highly doubt it's a coincidence.

Managers in the Premier League get passed around more than the office slut.

In other news, it appears that Kun Aguero wants to stay in Spain. Translation: Kun Aguero will be playing for Real Madrid, even though they are trying to tell everyone Juventus is the only team that has expressed interest.

According to Sky Sports, Hughes will not be the next manager at Villa/Villa doesn't want to talk to him.

What are the odds that he left Fulham with the intention of going to Villa before even knowing they didn't want him? If that is the case, wow. A great reason to laugh at Hughes.

Now I can't help but wonder who is going to fill each of those jobs.

Hodgson back to Fulham? Eh? Maybe?

I've read that Chelsea is interested in bring back Guus Hiddink as either manager, director of football or both.

I suppose that is always possible.

I've heard that Redknapp may go to Chelsea, Hughes to Tottenham...but who the heck knows.
