Re: The Transfer Thread
I refuse to believe the Thiago rumors until both clubs announce it. From being a "done deal" it's now "Thiago is considering staying because Barca promises blah blah blah." After getting THISCLOSE to Hazard & Lucas last year only for both to fall through, I ain't getting my hopes up.
I wouldn't understand why he would go to Chelsea either. He wants more PT, not more people to compete with to get PT. And that says a lot about United's midfield.

Re: The Transfer Thread
From Reuters
The reports said the 29-year-old would sign a three-year contract with the 29-times Italian champions. Juventus did not immediately comment.
Gazzetta dello Sport, Sky Sports Italia, Tuttosport and Corriere dello Sport all said an agreement had been reached following a meeting between officials from the clubs in Manchester, with Juventus expected to pay 12 million euros.
EDIT- Juventus just announced the dealLast edited by Mo; 06-26-2013, 04:41 PM.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Apparently Kone and Alcaraz to Everton is pretty close to done. Hopefully Kone doesn't come at too big of a price. I think he will do a good job helping to push Jelavic and Anichebe if Jelavic doesnt leave. Alcaraz will be decent cover especially if Heitinga is sold. I would really like to get Honda if Fellaini leaves as rumored. As wonderful as Fellaini did playing as more of an attacking mid, Honda is much more natural in that role. I'm really interested to see what Roberto Martinez can do with stronger talent.Comment

Hopefully that's that's the case...I'd rather not head into the season with a Dzeko/Aguero combo. Dzeko is better when he comes on as a sub. They seem to be high on John Guidetti but I don't know if he's ready to play that large of a role yet, especially considering he didn't play at all last year.
Oh joy.
Now that Tevez has signed with Juve, I'd like to see Arsenal sign Higuain. He'd be a nice signing and one that would help the teamComment
