Re: The Transfer Thread
You're right. We should completely discredit everything the BBC, Guardian, Telegraph, and SKY report.False. British "news" is terrible. Don't listen to them, especially when it comes to American players. Listen to Greg Seltzer (the link).Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Considering the amount of things they just make up, or take from other sources and pass them off as "exclusives," I have no problem taking any of them with a HUGE grain of salt.Comment

Will this do anything to the Lewandowski saga?

Since PSG "reportedly" put a bid in for Cavani and the Russian not wanting to get into a bidding war for him, Chelsea are turning their attention to Lewandowski, also Rooney's name was thrown in there.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Confirmed as a done deal. He signed a 4 year deal. Good business in my opinion. We signed him from Charlton for £1.7m. He rarely featured in the second half of the campaign and Rodgers has been actively seeking midfielders this offseason. His future looked to be away from Anfield anyway.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
With no Europe this year and the emergence of Coutinho, he simply didn't have a spot anymore. Better to cash in than send him out on loan or let him be unhappy on the bench/reserves. I'll be rooting for him to do well at Swansea.Confirmed as a done deal. He signed a 4 year deal. Good business in my opinion. We signed him from Charlton for £1.7m.
