Barcelona have jumped the gun. It is NOT official. He hasn't even had a medical yet nor has he agreed personal terms.

On Spurs site it says "We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Barcelona for the transfer of Giovani dos Santos to the Club, subject to a medical and agreeing personal terms."

This has been rumoured for a couple of weeks now. if it indeed goes through he will be a very pricey back-up because I don't see him getting in the team ahead of King (when and if ever fit), Woodgate or Dawson.

£6m seems to much for him in my opinion. He is living off his brother's name.

In all seriousness though, I'm pumped as hell that he's going to be suiting up for Spurs, but the Ferdinand signing is "eh" at best.
