ok so there seems to be A LOT of LFC supporters around here which is awesome. i'm curious to know people's opinions on suarez. i personally think hes too much of a liability and needs to be sold while the iron is hot. hes definitely a world class player but hes not all universe like a messi or ronaldo otherwise he would be worth the trouble.no one player is bigger than any club. i'm not one of those people that like a player just because he plays for a club i root for. i've never liked him. especially after that whole race thing that was the end for me.

ANYWAYS... head like 10 million different reports on him today. but heres a direct quote from the chomper himself. "it is not true i have an agreement with real madrid. i am thinking about my future but i haven't decided anything yet." but then its being reported by marca that madrid just triggered his $40 mil release clause and is close to coming to signing with them. so looks like hes good as gone at this point. and cesc apparently is going no where this summer. which kinda sucks i would of liked to see him back in the bpl but oh well sorry moyes.

I love the way Luis plays, and I love the way he absolutely hates to lose which IMO is what drives him to those "insane moments." That said however I think it's probably time for him to leave the UK all together, and it's definitely time to leave Liverpool. He's disgraced the club pure and simple and I'm just not willing to look the other way anymore just because he's a 30 goal scorer, I pray that the Madrid rumors are true.

TBH, Suarez is too talented to be wasting his prime at Liverpool right now. Antics aside (and they are HUGE antics) he should be playing meaningful games with a club that has trophy aspirations, not contending for Europa league spots.

I'd love him leading the line at Chelsea with Mata, Hazard, and Oscar giving him service. I'm sure Ivanovic would forgive him.

I see your point, but he isn't a good fit for Chelsea. You already have multiple players that play a similar game as him. If he goes somewhere, it won't be to another team in England.

Wouldn't fit with what we need. He plays too much like the 3 amigos, we need a big bruiser who can hold the ball up and take out the CBs playing up top.

Eriksen prefers Dortmund and Mikhtriyan is valued at about £22m. Too pricey in my book. Sure he scored 25 goals last year but in a pretty poor league.

I see your point, but he isn't a good fit for Chelsea. You already have multiple players that play a similar game as him. If he goes somewhere, it won't be to another team in England.

We don't have anyone like him, well maybe Torres-pre injuries to some extent. Suarez runs the channels, drifts wide occasionally to find space, and is able to manufacturer goals from anywhere and has the ability to beat multiple defenders. Only Hazard is capable of this but for as good as he is he's not the goal scorer Suarez is. With Mata/Oscar/Hazard the attack is very fluid with all pieces being interchangeable. Any one of the can deliver a pass and/or find themselves in the box with an eye for goal. Suarez plays this role well for Uruguay. Ba is more of a target man and Torres is still a shell of himself despite scoring 20+ goals this year in all comps.

What's unknown is the Mourinho factor and what he'll do with Lukaku. As he matures he could be that injection of power we need to compliment our smurf-like attackers.
