I'm sorry but in the context of the game MVP 04>>>>>>>MVP 05.

MVP Baseball 04 would be, for me, far and away the greatest sports soundtrack.

I remember this game especially for it's story and characters. This must the first RPG which really got into my mind, my heart even. The story is epic and It is just like a very good book. The tactics and gameplay are just as epic as well.
Some of them worked because of their great variety and notable title tracks, and others complemented the gameplay in an organic way, demonstrating that the developers had chosen the songs with great care.

In my mind the best soundtrack I've ever heard was from the first MLB The Show Series: MLB 06 The Show (which I still own as a collection). I really loved EVERY soundtrack in that game.

Re: Six Greatest Sports Game Soundtracks of All Time

Too many to choose for me.

                    NHL 2004
                    NHL 10
                    NHL 11
                    FIFA World Cup 2010
                    FIFA 08
                    FIFA 13
                    Madden 2004
                    Madden 13
                    NBA Live 10

If I had to choose one, it would be between FIFAWC 2010, NHL 2004, or NHL 10.
                    Calgary Flames
                    Los Angeles Lakers
                    Calgary Stampeders
                    Chelsea
                    Pittsburgh Steelers

                    Games I'm Playing:
FIFA 13: Cardiff City (Season: 2, BPL)
NBA 2K13: Season 2 in MyCareer (Mavericks)
                    Madden 12: Cleveland Browns (Season: 4, 5-10-1)
                    NHL 12: Calgary Flames (Season: 6, 39-29-6)

NBA Live 2004 has to be on the list. I was in Iraq and had Live 2004 on laptop.

People had to walk by my area and the menu was playing the soundtrack and guys would say who is that or i want to copy the cd. Im like dude its from the video game. And i didnt have the tools to extract it.

I hated NBA 2K11 soundtrack. I like deaden 07 and madden 11 soundtracks, with more rock and less rap.

The term "soundtrack" technically refers to the narrow strip along the side of a film that contains optical sound coding. But in more common terms, a soundtrack refers to the audio component of movies, television programs, video games, or even books. A soundtrack covers not only music, but also sound effects, dialogue, and voiceovers. It serves to enhance the scene or frame that visual images cannot.
