Fiction. I am guessing with all the recent bad press and in general disappointing responses to some general titles (Dead Space 3, Army of Two etc..) coupled with their recent bad publicity as America's worst company, they are just trying to build the hype train.

And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that given that their EA Sports brand produces the highest selling games. They're doing the same with the BF4 reveal. Its just right product placement/timing and some aggressive marketing.

Unless they're going the other direction and telling us EA and Microsoft are going exclusive?

FACT: There will be nothing new on the NCAA games front until Ed O'Bannon v. NCAA is decided one way or the other in the courts.

So for those you holding out hope for a college hoops game, put it on hold.

If O'Bannon wins, it likely means the end of all college games. So I'd buy NCAA 14 and spin it on EBay in 5 yrs for a couple hundred bucks.

Fact- We here at EA are going to do on the PS4 what we did on the PS3 for our consumers. We AREN'T going to push the envelope and AREN'T going to go above and beyond to put the best product we can on the shelves. Why u ask? Cause we don't have to cause our customers continue to comeback and as long as we have the NFL liscense we can make a sub-par game and they will continue to comeback.

Fact- I also believe we will finally get a NBA game, doubt a baseball as I feel in my opinion they can't compete with The Show

Fact- they will also announce the renewal of the Official liscense of Madden

In terms of "big" announcements, I don't think we get much beyond a next-generation product lineup reveal, which may include NBA LIVE and UFC. I am not holding my breath for a baseball game, through I suppose that could be in the cards.

Let me guess they bought exclusive rights to Oxygen and we can now buy DLC's in order to breath.

The only suprise I would like to see is their sports titles live up to their lofty hype.

I wouldn't mind seeing an MLB game from EA. Did EA extend their exclusive license agreement with the NFL?

fact: they will continue to make the same mistakes on next-gen consles!
fact: more money will go into advertising then in the game thus its not in the game!
fact: they dont care about you, just your money
fact: madden peaked out 9yrs ago
fact: building a real deal football game takes real talent
fact: sports gaming is in trouble if EA has anything to say about it!

EA has fired and hired some many ppl since 07, And i think thats whats wrong they keep hiring the ppl that is just happy to work on the game. But have no understanding of what should b in the game. But like always i still think they will put something right with this game since we r so close to next gen.

Any other spectacular information in regards to Madden and NBA Live will be minimal. The jump in technology from current gen to the next, will not have us see anything revolutionary., until at least the second or third year.

In saying all that, I'd have to agree with everything that has been said about a new MLB title. Do t be surprised to see this as an exclusive considering how cosy things have be one between MS and EA.
True, I can see one announcement being Microsoft exclusive titles. EA is Pro Microsoft. No Fight Night this year as I was told by their producers who are working on the UFC game.
