Some people still play their games offline and love franchise mode..these people like myself might have to commute out of town and stay in a hotel with bad wifi... I would hate to have this option taken away.. I would be a full time retro gamer if the option is taken away

Re: Why Sports Games Should Explore MMO Territory

There used to be a baseball MMO, Ultimate Baseball Online, that also had some sponsorship from Cal Ripken and ESPN for awhile. It died quite awhile ago, but with the advances in technology I think something similar should make a comeback.

There are text MMOs that use simulators and all human players that develop their player by writing articles and making graphics, such as the Simulation Basketball Association - https://sba.today/forums/

The issue that has to be rectified and a software engine developed to combat Meta plays, matchup problems, nano blitzes in madden at least, issues and bugs that has plagued madden since they employed frostbite, ie bad algorithms, poor animations, when and where the engine should affect a play on a consistent level.   ANNNNND most importantly the either seperation ie salary capped, or total separation in reg. H2H,  A person who spends thousands of dollars to rip packs in EA ' s Planet Hollywood  Casino will and in-fact does have an advantage.  A lot of addressing to do, and the fact that Rex is gone "who could blame him"? The vision went too.  It was no more evident than this year when Clint took over for Rex.  We had thresholds met  for animations in December content rollout instead late in the year, so it's been gnarly.  I'm actually takin g this next one off, to let EA figure out a better business model
