Are you guys all move players? I don't have the move. Just curious if I can still participate in the tournies not using the move.

I'd love to join if you're still taking members (I sent a petition through the game earlier today). I don't post all that much, but I lurk here (as well as a couple of the other forums) fairly regularly.

My PSN is fpliii (3 i's); I'm just wondering if this CC is move only? I play with a standard DS3 controller, but am considering picking up a move bundle in the near future.

EDIT: FWIW I will be able to play often, and play very 'sim-style' golf (I'm not sure if it's much of an issue this year, but there has been a fair amount of cheesing in TW titles in years past).

Re: PS3 Operation Sports Country Club

So, I was in the middle of giving Millennium's +21 a run for its money (+12 after 7 I think), and my wireless controller (which I had on for menu navigation) turns itself off automatically. That caused the game to pause for some reason, and then even after I turned the controller back on it wouldn't unpause. Had to quit to the XMB to unfreeze it, and so my first Country club tournament is a DNF.

Are you guys using your created golfers with these tournaments or the pros? I felt a little out of my league with my weak-*** CAG...lol.

Utterly heartbroken.

But I still would have finished it out if I could for what little XP I could get. From now on I'm just going to leave the wireless plugged in while I'm playing with the move.

I hear you. I haven't quit on a round either, even on a +20 I shot in my Road to the Tour in which I completely melted down and pulled a Tin Cup. I was on 18 on some course that has water to the right of the hole and I hit it into the water. Tried it again, hit it into the water. Tried it again with the same result, ended up taking an 11 on the hole. Totally got pissed and said I am going to hit this shot no matter what!

For the tournaments so far, I've been going with pros. Turning the aids off makes things hard enough; After throwing up an awesome +20-something at Autgusta last Thursday, I switched to using Tiger, and still shot over par on every round. Last thing I need is to be hitting drives 80 yards shorter with my CAG...
