That's probably around where I'd shoot. Actually probably worse depending on weather conditions and pin positions. I cannot chip or pitch on this game to save my life, so if I miss a green I'm screwed. I might actually be worse with the regular controller.

I'll probably give it a whirl after I practice a little more on those type of settings. I feel like Tour Pro is pretty much good for me though. Maybe a little Dream Golf, but not totally (referring to playing with move). Whereas on Expert I shoot 10-15 shots higher than I probably would if I were to actually play.

Just got the game tonight and 4 rounds under my belt. Tour pro sounds tough for now, but why not.

Please sign me up if you have the room.

Challenging course without the cheap gimmicks.

I was looking at the difficulty and I am not sure that I am ready for no swing meter or no green grids. That just sounds really frustrating right now. I just shot my first below par round on Tour pro with no caddie and no putt previews, but with green grids on and meters on. I was slogging away shooting -10 and -12 rounds for so long, I am happy to be competing in my tour mode now.

Got my game, will join at some point today.

I play with the Move, so looking forward to seeing how I stack up to Millennium and the others.

Are you guys all move players? I don't have the move. Just curious if I can still participate in the tournies not using the move.

I'd love to join if you're still taking members (I sent a petition through the game earlier today). I don't post all that much, but I lurk here (as well as a couple of the other forums) fairly regularly.

My PSN is fpliii (3 i's); I'm just wondering if this CC is move only? I play with a standard DS3 controller, but am considering picking up a move bundle in the near future.

EDIT: FWIW I will be able to play often, and play very 'sim-style' golf (I'm not sure if it's much of an issue this year, but there has been a fair amount of cheesing in TW titles in years past).

Re: PS3 Operation Sports Country Club

So, I was in the middle of giving Millennium's +21 a run for its money (+12 after 7 I think), and my wireless controller (which I had on for menu navigation) turns itself off automatically. That caused the game to pause for some reason, and then even after I turned the controller back on it wouldn't unpause. Had to quit to the XMB to unfreeze it, and so my first Country club tournament is a DNF.

Are you guys using your created golfers with these tournaments or the pros? I felt a little out of my league with my weak-*** CAG...lol.

                        Utterly heartbroken.

But I still would have finished it out if I could for what little XP I could get. From now on I'm just going to leave the wireless plugged in while I'm playing with the move.

I hear you. I haven't quit on a round either, even on a +20 I shot in my Road to the Tour in which I completely melted down and pulled a Tin Cup. I was on 18 on some course that has water to the right of the hole and I hit it into the water. Tried it again, hit it into the water. Tried it again with the same result, ended up taking an 11 on the hole. Totally got pissed and said I am going to hit this shot no matter what!

For the tournaments so far, I've been going with pros. Turning the aids off makes things hard enough; After throwing up an awesome +20-something at Autgusta last Thursday, I switched to using Tiger, and still shot over par on every round. Last thing I need is to be hitting drives 80 yards shorter with my CAG...

I'd be interested in joining if still possible.

I haven't played a Tiger game regularly since 2004. I rented a few between 04 and '12 and played them here and there. Didn't really care for them.

I read all the positive reviews about 13 on here and decided to give it a try. Absolutely love it. I bought it on Easter and am having a blast. I'm still pretty terrible though. My putting is absolutely atrocious. It's slowly getting better, but I'm pretty much guaranteed to two-putt at least 12-14 holes in a round. It's slowly improving however, as well as my short game. If you guys can put up with that, I'd like to be in.

                              PSN: Okstate19.

                              Thanks!

And let me just say, I really appreciate the reviews/comments on the OS board regarding this game. I had been jonesing for a good golf game for awhile, and had people not gone out of their way to provide their views regarding the 2013 edition of Tiger, I doubt I would have ever given it a second look.
                              Thanks.
