Re: PS3 Operation Sports Country Club
It says motion controller and then the drop down box gives you the choice for either off or on. If "on", people with controllers cannot join. I have confirmed this by setting up dailies and attempting to get into them with my controller.Comment

Re: PS3 Operation Sports Country Club
I accidentally scheduled a DLC course, The Predator, as the daily. I thought that was one of the courses, so sorry about that for people who don't have any of the DLC. I will keep the dailies to the stock courses.
We got some ok activity on the controller daily. I think 5 people played on it. Hoping to get more. The move tournaments are not getting alot of activity. I think only 2 people played on it. Hoping as things get going we get more activity.Comment

Re: PS3 Operation Sports Country Club
Ok, so on my CAG tour mode, I had a frustrating 3rd Round at Sawgrass. Going into the third round I was -2, 3 shots up on 2nd place.
I think it was on hole 3 or 4, the ball placement glitch struck and really screwed up my round. I hit my 2nd shot on the hole right on the fringe. When the screen changes to set up my 3rd shot, I am on the other side of the water and instead of being 10 yards from the hole on the green, I am now 47 yards from the hole on the 2nd cut. The pin placement was somewhat close to the water, so needless to say my next shot goes into the water and I triple bogey as I 2 putt after my next shot lands far away from the hole.
Then I let that hole beat me two more times as I double bogey two holes to go to +5 at one point (I started pressing and my shots started flying everywhere). I fought my way back to +2 highlighted by a birdie pitch from the rough from 30 yards out. I am currenly 2 strokes back of the leader going into the final round. This is good for me as my average finishes have been in the 30's on the nationwide tour. Don't laugh!!!
By the way, that glitch needs to get patched ASAP!
Added Note, Sawgrass is an awesome course if you haven't played it. I am sure most people haven't, but it is one of my favorites.Comment

Re: PS3 Operation Sports Country Club
Yeah I noticed the daily was at the predator,I'm not keen on the fantasy courses so probably wont even get any of those.I've downloaded Spyglass so far & plan to get all the other real courses as & when I earn enough coins. It will have to be 1 at a time because all the course packs contain fantasy courses.Comment

Re: PS3 Operation Sports Country Club
I played the daily yesterday & I know this sounds crazy but I actually found putting with the meter on harder than when I usually play with meter off.My score was worse than when I play with tournament difficulty settings.I usually take a couple of practice strokes then manage to get the pace from the feedback HUD.With the meter on I just kept overswinging & slamming the putt way pastComment

Re: PS3 Operation Sports Country Club
If you play on tour pro, perhaps change the swing difficulty to expert to add some difficulty to your end or change some of the other settings like putt previews or no boost pins. I remember reading that hard posts some ridiculous scores.
Lucklily I suck enough right now that tour pro with no caddies, putt previews, or pin boosts is giving me all I can handle. When it starts getting easier, I plan on changing the swing to expert to see how that works out.Comment

Edit: Unless that was the one I DNF'd in...I can't remember.
I'll get in on the next Move one.Last edited by bcruise; 04-16-2012, 06:12 PM.Comment

Re: PS3 Operation Sports Country Club
Also for those on the move that played on Pebble Beach, is that really the difficulty setting that you want? Those scores looked brutal. Give me an indication on what difficulty you want.Comment

Oh no big deal at all. I am just kind of curious to see how many people are playing with controllers as to those playing with the move.
