Well, we are just hours away from release...post your impressions of PGA 2K21 here!

I apparently won't be getting my physical copy until next week, so it'll be a while before I can post my thoughts. Looking forward to seeing what everyone has to say!

Steam no midnight release is killing me right now. I almost want to cave and just get it for console but I know I'll regret it. I guess I wait to play till tomorrow

Huh....is it downloadable/installable but not playable yet? I just saw the install option for the for the first time when I checked this evening and am downloading now, so I thought it might be playable by now too.

I'm a little surprised it's only 5.3 GB - or at least I would be if I didn't know about this game's indie roots.

The game is now available on Steam. They flipped the switch at midnight eastern time.

I just banged out an online match which was a disaster for both myself and my opponent as it was both of ours first rounds. I am having major issues with the putting meter right now which seems to be VERY quick.

Can confirm, game started right up when I finished downloading. It's out on Steam.

I’ve seen streams where flag is still in when putting.

Gotta be a bug.

Actually, with the new rules, you can putt with the flag in. There is a setting in the game where you choose if the flag is left in or pulled.

Game is even better than I thought it was gonna be. Wow! What a fun game! Feels like Sunday every match!

I have a steelseries stratus duo controller and I am all over the place. I am only on pro and really struggling with the tempo. The swing calibration did not seem to do anything for me. I purposefully tried swinging slower / faster in there and it didnt seem to change anything. In match play commentary is very bugged along w/ the match score between holes. One thing I dont understand is the game is showing as less than 6GB? It seems to run very well I dont have a beast of a machine by any means and i had most stuff on high and frame rate seemed very good. I am alright with the putting meter, but chipping is weird. I was in like the 65% rough had marker on pin and the ball just sailed way past, then I have come up horribly short with an OK swing. Pretty frustrating. Overall its alright I am still not a fan of the swing, but i will give it some more time

There Should be an option in settings to have it permanently set to out. Also can toggle it with the square or x button.

Thanks for the heads up about steam. It said unlocks in 13 hours about 2 hours ago lol. Was about to go to bed then checked this thread.

Played my first round and am completely blown away.

Played the golf club from day 1 and have bought each game since and I have to say congrats HB Studios. You've made it!!!! I cant believe how far they've come

Totally exceeds my expectations. Didnt think it would have such great presentation with commentary and replays.

Found it a little easy but I'm sure I can find a good challenge by messing with sliders when I'm less tired.

so i like how when you pre order it it comes a little install already because once midnight hit i only had to install 5gb on the pc. love the graphics it was beautiful on normal once i put it on ultra it look even better. gameplay is smooth i havent play golf in years but everything is like how it was when i last played. i created my golfer did the training then went to the career mode. i failed the first stage and didnt make the cut. idk if it was me but i notice when i pull back on the right analog stick and move forward to me i thought i was hitting straight but it seem to always hook. putting has always been a weak spot for me that something i need to get better at. went to play two matches online i was surprise there was no lag and it find opponents quick. the only thing i didnt like about online is you have to wait till your opponent is finish after each turn i was hoping i could golf my round and then the opponent golf his round like how it was before. but overall i am enjoying this game alot

i have a question.. i have it but didnt play online yet.


are matches online allowed to have users with different club difficulties still? or is it everyone set at a certain level (like everyone at medium)? or is it segregated where users can choose, but where master clubs users only play other master club users?


also, is there cross-platform play? can pc play versus xbox versus ps4, for example?
