Prior to Sundays finale against the Rockies, the Tigers activated centerfielder Riley Greene from the 10 day I.L. Greene went 1-5 with a run scored. Infielder Ryan Kreidler was optioned to Toledo to make room for Greene.
Pitcher Tarik Skubal will continue his rehab assignment on Monday, when he starts for the Mud Hens against Columbus. In two previous rehab starts, Skubal has thrown 12 innings, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits, with 5 walks and 7 strikeouts. If all goes well in Monday's start, it is expected that Skubal will get one more start with Toledo, then rejoin the Tigers after the All Star break.
The Tigers are off on Monday, then return home to host the Oakland Athletics for three games beginning on Tuesday. Following the Oakland series, the Tigers will host the Toronto Blue Jays, leading into the All Star break.
