2023 MLB PLAYOFFS WILD CARD ROUND


The 2023 season is in the books. The Detroit Tigers (138-24) and the Toronto Blue Jays (103-59) earned byes in the American League, while the Atlanta Braves (108-54) and the Los Angeles Dodgers (98-64) earned byes in the National League, by being the top two division winning teams in their respective leagues. The Houston Astros (90-72) won the A.L. West, while the Pittsburgh Pirates (95-67) won the N.L. Central. The Minnesota Twins (99-63), Los Angeles Angels (87-75) and New York Yankees (86-76) won the A.L. Wild Card spots, while the Milwaukee Brewers (93-69), St. Louis Cardinals (92-70), and New York Mets (89-73) secured the N.L. Wild Card spots.

In the Wild Card Round, the Twins will host the Angels, the Astros host the Yankees, the Brewers host the Cardinals, and the Pirates host the Mets. Each series is a 3 game series, with all three games being hosted by the higher seeded team.

The Tigers will face the winner of the Angels/Twins series. The Blue Jays will face the winner of the Astros/Yankees series. The Braves will face the winner of the Brewers/Cardinals series, and the Dodgers will face the winner of the Pirates/Mets series.
