The Tigers came back from a 5-2 deficit, to beat the Braves 7-5 in game one. Jose Agua (10) homered, and drove in two. Kyle Dutcher (28) added a home run of his own, RIley Greene, Javier Baez, and Andy Ibanes also had RBI. Will Vest (2-0) earned the win in relief. Matt Olson (24) homered, and drove in three for the Braves.
The Braves evened the series with a 6-5 win in game two. Matt Olson (25) homered and drove in three for the second straight game. Austin Riley (15) and Orlando Arcia also had home runs. Spencer Strider allowed three runs on seven hits in six innings to earn his 11th win of the season. Riley Greene drove in three runs for the Tigers. Jack Flaherty (7-2) took the loss.
The Tigers scored a run in the top of the ninth, and hung on for a 403 win in game three, and a series win in Atlanta. Jose Agua (11) homered and drove in two. Riley Greene and Gio Urshela added RBI. Shelby Miller (3-0) earned the win in relief. Alex Lange picked up his 28th save of the season. Adam Duvall (7) homered twice for the Braves.
The Tigers will enjoy an off day on Thursday, then start a six game home stand, with three against the Chicago White Sox (21-55) followed by three with the Phillies (38-36).
