LOB/Touch touchpass inconsistent on new pass system

I can’t seem to do it consistently on the new passing system.

The window seems to be a lot smaller compared to classic.

It’s way smaller. I have never had a problem in years past, but this year 80% of my intended lobs come out as touch passes.

You really have to tap it like the button is going to dismember your finger if you hold it too long. Hard to do when your staring down a pass rush and trying to read the defense but it is what it is

Guys, there is no timing window for lob or touch passes... I broke it down here:

You will never see "good timing" or "great timing" on touch or lob throws. The timing meter can only affect bullets.

I don’t use the meter. I use placement power. I know that the game is registering some of my lobs as touch passes because it says “touch pass” on the screen when I sometimes mean to throw a lob

I’m not talking about timing it, just throwing it with the new system.

Classic you have .5 second to throw a touch where in the new passing system, it feels like a nano second before it registers as bullet pass.

I misunderstood, my bad. I haven't played without "Placement & Accuracy" myself.

I agree with the OP. Way more than half the time I try to throw a lob/touch pass, I end up throwing a bullet pass.

This is why I switched back to classic passing.
