Madden NFL 23 Patch #3 Available – Patch Notes

So idk what’s going on. My first season of madden 23 franchise I took the Vikings to a 9-8 record and had a top #10 defense. I fished that season right as this patch dropped. I am 10 games into this season and I am 4-6 and can not stop the CPU to save my life. How did the patch affect this? I am ranked near to dead last in every defensive category. Games have me just scratching my head on how I get a stop. I play on 15 min qtrs default all madden. I love this years game bc I love the challenge but I can’t figure out what made such a difference in the gameplay.

IMO the thing that has changed the most is that with the exception of a few SS and XF players, defenders play pass coverage very realistically now, so personnel, play calling and pass rush really have to be on point to shut down the CPU and have an elite defense.

I have seen a significant increase in user fumbles. HB averaging one a game rather than three a season. Many more from WRs and TEs too.

Nice! Maybe that's a solution for no kick returns we've seen for years in this game.
