With All The Problems In Madden 24......

With all the problems in Madden 24 if you had to, would you buy Madden 24 again knowing what you know now?

If so, what price point do you think is fair for what you get?

thinking about buying madden 24 but was wondering at what price point I should take the leap.
    I am the way
    I am the light
I am the dark inside the night.
    I hear your hopes
    I feel your dreams
And in the dark I hear your screams
Don't turn away, Just take my hand
I'll never leave, All I ask of you, Is Believe.

    Believe

I bought it day one and have almost no regrets. The things that bother people don't really bother me to the point where I don't play the game. Wish things were better in a bunch of areas, but the game is fun.

That depends on what you want from it …if you wanna play high scoring arcade games this is for you but if you want a realistic NFL experience don’t bother ….don’t get me wrong it’s probably the best looking game ever but user pass defense is totally broken …and I’ve tried everything..maybe next year

        Yep, I will.

Honestly, this is probably one of the best releases of this game in a long time. Of course there are lingering issues that I want to see addressed but I am not as sensitive as some of our other gamers are. It's just a game and as such, I have tempered expectations

Only things I don’t like are these dog butt menus (they should be snappy af, just like MLBTS, no excuses), no progressive lighting, poor presentation, and this funky fatigue & autosub situation. Throw in the inability to choose weather conditions too, I guess, but I been asking for that for 20 years and they never listen.

Other than that I’m perfectly happy. Sorry for those who aren’t.

            Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.

I honestly like m24, but I don't have the hard drive space for other games, so I removed it, to free up a little space.

Since I play more classic than today's football, madden 20 is loaded for that. And even has draft classes and a current roster to play today's style if I'd like.

If you can find it on sale grab it, it's worth it, I was just fussing the other day about 2k, but I've settled where no game is perfect and at the end of the day, it's a video game.

So just enjoy it for what it is and call it a day.

For me the big problems with the game are sim stats and lack of penalties. I've adjusted my play clock so I run as many plays as the sim engine does which is less than an NFL game. I've learned to live with false start and roughing the passer as my only penalties. Now I'm just trying to dial sliders so I get decent penalty numbers.

The visual presentation is amazing. The CPU QB actually plays smart based on ratings. Overall it's a fun game. I'm in the preseason of my 3rd year in my franchise. It's not perfect but it's not terrible. Totally worth the price even full retail.

1st time I skipped buying since it was on Sega Genesis. No regrets, I might buy it if it goes down to $20, but it really just doesn't seem worth it anymore. I was afraid I would miss it, but honestly I don't at all. Too many issues and not enough Franchise improvements for me to bother anymore.

I could list a lot of things I don’t like about the game but I still have fun playing it

Taking into account that Sabo's gameplay mod (still in production but doing well) on the PC is on course to fix most gameplay and AI issues I would say it's a great game.

The fact that it took the mod community to fix it is a different story!

I'd say this is the least buggy version of Madden - especially at launch - that I've played in a very, very long time. At the same time, I've not been able to get into it nearly as much as I normally do. I think it's fatigue from how much time I put into the game every year rebuilding franchises... you can only do the same thing so many times and have it feel new and with how little franchise has changed in the past 8 years I think I just need a bit of a break.

I think this is a great game. I got it through gameshare so i didn't have to buy it, but I'd recommend it to everyone. Especially with these $45 sales that are happening right now. I just haven't gotten hooked yet. Next year when/if College Football actually releases I'll get that, skip Madden, and this will be a fun Madden to come back to.

                          Says it all, doesn't it?!

Typical America. Why do it yourself when you can get someone to do it for next to nothing. (or in this case, truly nothing..)

.. I bought the game this year due to next gen on PC. I had skipped every version since 17. I have buyers remorse, but I am confident the PC mods will clean up most of my issues with the game.

I'll take EA's "Game with issues for years, but playable and fun" over Bethesda's "The game is literally unplayable without modders fixing 600 different things every single release".

                              Yes and no.

Bought it, loved the gameplay, then had to wait for over a month for draft classes to be fixed. Been playing it a lot lately, and actually finding it to be a challange.
