Yeah, this is the 3rd year this glitch exists in CFM.
I would get this a lot if I moved "false start" to 51 or higher in the settings menu. I always leave it at default now, but I still run into this glitch sometimes when the CPU team is in the red zone. Luckily it doesnt happen as much if you use default false start (50) but it almost always seems to be when the CPU is in the red zone, sometimes it happens to them during 2 minute drills too.
One thing you can do is; once the CPU has had 2 false starts in a row, intentionally move one of your DL players into one of the CPU teams OL players. That will give you a 5 yard penalty and give 5 yards back to the CPU and it "stops the cycle" and allows the CPU to carry on as if they only commited 1 false start (instead of 2-3 in a row).
That is the only way I have found deal with this glitch. It has been mentioned in several glitch threads, and I have even personally Tweeted EA about it in the past, but they always ignore my Tweets when I ask about glitches, and it has never been fixed.
I would'nt hold your breath on this 3 year-old glitch ever getting fixed. I think they either dont care, dont know about it, or its too low on their list of priorities.
