Do QBs ever get injured???

I've played a few dozen CFM games and I noticed that I never see CPU QBs getting hurt in simmed games.


I had QB injuries in game to my own and the CPU's QB but never in simmed games. I have the injury slider at 50.


Is this a 'thing' where QBs don't get injured in simmed games??

They definitely do. I've seen D.Watson get injured a ton and J.Webb comes in and just lights it up.

I don't mean in-game, I've seen tonnes of those. I mean during the season on other teams where the games are simmed.

David Carr is out for 4 weeks in my franchise and all his games were simmed

I don't mean in-game, I've seen tonnes of those. I mean during the season on other teams where the games are simmed.

I didn't say it was in game. I keep my eye on the stat tracker while I'm playing, and he was tearing the other teams a new one.

Not that many get injured if the injury slider is set 10-20

I turned mine down to 38 and get a fair share of them. Didn't get hardly any when i had mine at 50.

If I had mine that low id have an injury every other play. I had it at 30 and had to turn it up to 38 because of too many and now I feel it's balanced.

I have injury slider at 23 in-game and 52 simmed

Are you suggesting here the injury slider operates in reverse of it's proper function ? Lowering the slider value should LOWER the number of injuries ( at zero they are off entirely)

Didn't seem the case for me. I lowered mine to have more injuries and when I went to 30 I was having too many. Raised it to 35, wasn't quite liking it then kept it at 38 which works for me.
These sliders are confusing. Some are reversed than you think they should be.

These sliders are confusing. Some are reversed than you think they should be.

Almost certainly placebo , and misunderstanding of probabilities , you would need a truly massive sample size to notice ANY change ( increase or decrease) by moving the slider 3 notches in either direction
Your injury decreases by increasing the slider value are merely the result of random *luck*

Didn't someone from EA say that for those who play 15 min quarters that 15 was the magic number, that 50 would be way too high?

The lower you go the less injuries you will have.

I find that weird for one that it wasn't known and they don't explain sliders at all for us to know which direction which slider should go.

Second, I wasnt having a lot of injuries till I turned it down and I wanted to have more, just not a ton and why I took it back up from 30 to 38. So for me anyways, seems going down caused more. But I'm going to move it up some to see what happens.

I also want my RBs to sub in more so I guess I also need to turn up sub in.
